Ashram :- Come for peace

Ashram is a fictional series based on true events. It takes place in a fictional 'Kashipur' which is controlled by 'Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala'. When a skeleton is found in the near jungle, a series of events take place that starts to horrify the ashram. A mad police officer is investigating the case with his own style, will he succeed in this. 


Bobby Deol plays the character of 'Baba'. His character is astrange whose one side helps minority people for their justice and another side blackmails the people who resist him. His acting is good especially in calm speeches given at the time of Satsang. He is given another great performance after 'The Class Of 83', which is reviving his career. Aditi Pohankar plays the part of a minor cast 'Pammi'. She is struggling with society, family for her career in wrestling. Her ambition takes her to the baba and it starts to take her family in it. She looked fierce on the screen as she looked on the series 'She'. Her acting standard is going up day by day. Darshan Kumar is best known for roles in 'Mary Kom' and 'NH 10' plays the character of PSI Ujagar Singh. Ujagar Singh has his own unique technique of solving a cast, he is partially corrupt in nature. His acting is great but more to come from him in the future. Rajeev Siddhartha known for the movie 'Upstarts' and the ALT Balaji series 'Bekaboo' plays the character of reporters named Akki. His character is curious about events happening in Kashipur which he leads him as a helping hand. His acting is poor, in the best way the role doesn't suit him. Anupriya Goenka plays the character of Dr. Natasha who is newly recruited in the post marten ward. Her character gets involved in the case for her honesty and starts to trouble her. Her acting is average in the series. Other supporting cast includes Vikarm Kochhar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Adhayan Suman, Tridha Choudhary and etc.


Prakash Jha directed as well as produced the series. His anticipation for the big moments starts to make me curious from the start. Writing is let down in the middle of the series which ruins the climax of the series. There is more to come in the 2nd season which will be out soon.

The Walk

 I started my walk as usual but as soon as I got out of my gate, I started to feel a little weird. I didn’t have this type of feeling in my life. The feeling was of fear yet happiness, like a mixed juice. I have a daily route for my walk. I start my walking from my society gate towards Deepak Stores, where I meet my ‘not so serious about health’ friends who come to walk just to eat Deepak’s samosas.
