10 Beautiful Destinations To Travel In India
India is a great place to travel but when I hear about all the tourism focusing on Taj Mahal, Manali, Kedarnath, etc. Then I tried to find less-visited destinations in India compare to all the famous destinations in India. I just got surprised by the results and I tried to take ten destinations for my research to write a blog. I cannot provide you images as I can't have their copyrights. So I apologize in advance.
10.Valparai, Tamil Nadu
Valparai is a hill station in the Coimbatore of Tamil Nadu. It is consisting of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve which was earlier known as Indira Gandhi Tiger Reserve Sanctuary and National Park. Valparai is an evergreen forest so it has varied species of animals. Bengal tigers, elephants, boars, lion-tailed macaques, gaur, spotted deer, sambar are some of the animals.
Main attractions:- Monkey Falls, Nirar dam, Maanaapalli
9. Tarkarli, Maharashtra
Tarkarli is located in Malvan, Sindhudurg. Tarkarli bridge is known as the queen beach of the Kokan region. Scuba diving activities run in this area due to shallow water and low life risk. The local food and golden beach are the beauty of Tarkarli. Shivaji Maharaj's Sindudurg fort is near this beach where you can go by boat.

8. Bishnupur, West Bengal
Bishnupur is located in Bankura. It is famous for historic Radha Krishna temples built by Malla rulers during 1600-1800 CE. The temples are called terracotta temples. The Baluchari sarees are famous in this city. Mythological scenes were crafted on the pallu of sari which is a specialty of it.

7. Patan, Gujrat
Patan is located at Anhilvad, Anhilpur. Patan has an old history with several Hindu and Muslim distances making it a regional capital of northern Gujrat.
Rani ki Vav is a famous spot in this city. In this place, there is a small gate below the last step of the stepwell which has a 30 km tunnel (now it has been blocked by stones and mud). Like Bishnupur’s Baluchari saree, Patan’s Patola sari is famous.

6. Lonar lake, Maharastra
Lonar lake also known as Lonar Crater is located at Buldhana. It is one of four known, hypervelocity, impact craters in basaltic rock anywhere on the earth. The other three are in southern Brazil. A 2019 IIT Bombay study found that the minerals in the lake soil are very similar to the minerals found in moon rocks brought back during Apollo Program. There are no main attractions because this is a tourist attraction.
5. Gavi, Kerala
Gavi is a village in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Gavi has an evergreen forest and a wide range of wildlife like tigers, elephants, leopards, bears, Indian gaur, barking and mouse deers, etc. they also have 250 species of birds. The temperature on February-April day is 28 C and drops to 20 at night.

4. Kaas Pathar, Maharastra
The place is also known as Kas Plateau Reserved Forest. Kass Pathar became UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2012. Kaas Pathar is known for various types of seasonal wildflowers bloom and numerous species of butterflies. Kaas Pathar has more than 850 different species of flowering plants. These species have carnivorous plants like Drosera Indica. Bhambavli Flower, the largest flower in the world is just 3 km away from Kaas Pathar.

3. Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, Madhya Pradesh
From the Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods, Bhimbetka is present. So it has historic importance also. It became UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. Bhimbetka is consisted of seven hills and over seven-fifty rock shelters
distributed over ten km. Some of the shelters were inhabited over 100,000 years ago. The site consisting of 1,892 hectares was declared as protected by Indan Laws. In 1990, the site came under the Archaeological Survey of India.
Main attractions:- Auditorium cave, Rock art, and paintings of different periods
2. Osian, Rajasthan
Osian is located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. Osian is an ancient village. Osian is famous for its temples of Hindu and Jain from the 8th to 12th centuries. The village got attacked by Muhammed of Ghor in 1195 and halted the major trading center from the Gupta Period. The monument at Osian is one of the oldest temples in the world. The Jain Mahavira Temple was built in A.D. 783 by King Vatsaraja. This temple is tirtha for Jain Community.
Main attractions:- Parshvanath statue, Harihara temple, Carving on the walls of temples
1. Shivneri Fort, Pune
Shivneri is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the great Maratha empire founder. Shivneri is a hill fort having a triangular shape and has its entrance from the southwest side of the hill. There is an entrance to the fort from the side in which one has to hold chains to climb up to the fort gate. The fort extends up to 1.6 km with seven spiral well-defended gates. Walls all around the fort are of mud. The fort has major buildings are a prayer hall, a tomb, and a mosque. This is the main attraction.
