Yaara :- Friendship Over Everything

'Yaara' is the story of four friends who form a gang in the 80s named 'Chaukdi Gang'.The gang smuggles things between India and Nepal. It showcases friendship, politics and internal rivalry in a quiet way. The film moves backward in the story. The movie is a remake of French Movie 'Les Lyonnais ( A Gang Story)'. The movie picks up speed after 30 mins.


The cast of the movie is star studded. Vidyut Jamwal plays 'Phagun' who is the leader of the gang. He is emotional and of course strong. It is quite surprising not seeing much of his flying stunts in the movie. Amit Sadh in the role of 'Mitwa' who is like brother to Phagun. He is childish. Vijay Verma as 'Rizwan' who is playboy and short tempered. Shruti Hassan as a love interest of Phagun doesn't get much time in the movie. Her character is underused in the movie. Sanjay Mishra gives a cameo in the movie.


Tighmanshu Dulia as a director impresses but I expected much more from him. Though this is a typical Tigmanshu Dhulia film. The film doesn't have typical Bollywood touch in it. The movie somehow loses the plot in the middle part.


The talented cast, a friendship story makes this movie on your watchlist. The movie is available on ZEE5.

The Walk

 I started my walk as usual but as soon as I got out of my gate, I started to feel a little weird. I didn’t have this type of feeling in my life. The feeling was of fear yet happiness, like a mixed juice. I have a daily route for my walk. I start my walking from my society gate towards Deepak Stores, where I meet my ‘not so serious about health’ friends who come to walk just to eat Deepak’s samosas. After greeting them I go to Rajmal Road. I like this road and walking on it. The road is never filled with honks of vehicles and gossips of humans.
